Olá! | Hello!
I’m an Adjunct Professor in the Scientific Computing Department at the Center of Informatics of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), located in the coastal city of João Pessoa – the easternmost point of the Americas. I am also a co-founder of the TRIL Lab, and leader of the Holistic Computational Science and Engineering - HOCSE group.
My work is deeply rooted in Computational Science and Engineering - CSE. My foundational background comprises several subjects, including finite elements, transport phenomena, multiphase flows, numerical analysis, porous media, and reservoir modeling. More recently, my current research focuses on driving solutions for complex, modern challenges, especially energy transition and decarbonization, data life cycle, and applied AI.
I developed this website as a digital portfolio to share my work, gather utilities, recommend colleagues, and provide insights into STEM and interdisciplinary topics.
Enjoy your stay, and don’t hesitate to reach out if I can help you with a project or if you’d like to collaborate!

Afterwords
“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.”
“Let my teaching drop as the rain, my speech distill as the dew, as the droplets on the fresh grass and as the showers on the herb.”
“God has hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ. I say this so that no one will mislead you with arguments that merely sound good.”
“In the beginning was the [Λόγος], and the [Λόγος] was with God, and the [Λόγος] was God.”
“I am the [ὁδὸς | living way of walking through existence], the [ἀλήθεια | unconcealed and unpropositional truth beyond appearences], and the [ζωή | fullness of life towards genuine essence].”
“I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.”
